According to conservative influencer Libs of TikTok, Paige utilized her Facebook account to issue a threat against President Trump. The New York Democrat stated, “I have seen no credible evidence that he is a human being. Perhaps you possess information that we are unaware of. In my view, it would be comparable to euthanizing a rabid dog.”
In her post dated August 2, 2024, Libs of TikTok provided context by stating, “Meet Christine Paige (D), an elected member of the town board in Potsdam, NY. She believes that referring to Donald Trump in a derogatory manner is akin to ‘putting down a rabid dog.’ Furthermore, she labeled the critics’ response to her offensive remark as ‘foolishness.’”
As reported by local media, Supervisor Marty Miller, who oversees the Potsdam board, criticized her outrageous remarks. He stated, “The Board does not concur with the statement and disapproves of the comments made.
