In a video shared on social media, New York Attorney General Letitia James is seen having a breakdown as Attorney General Pam Bondi intensifies the scrutiny in an ongoing corruption scandal. In her frantic response, James outlined the various methods her office was employing to hinder the Trump administration through legal means.
For context, Letitia James gained notoriety after imposing a $500 million fine on Donald Trump in what many viewed as a clear instance of legal warfare. While the New York Democrat ironically accused Trump of misrepresenting the value of his assets when seeking a loan, her own hypocrisy was revealed when it was found that she might have falsified documents to secure more favorable mortgage conditions, leading to a significant FBI investigation.
Regardless, James’s breakdown commenced with standard anti-Trump rhetoric. She stated, “We prepared in anticipation of Donald Trump winning this election, we examined Project 2025, we considered jurisdiction, we assessed venue, we analyzed a broad spectrum of issues, which is why, when he issued his first executive order concerning birthright citizenship, we took action.”
Not finished, she continued, “Within 48 hours, we filed a lawsuit regarding birthright citizenship. We obtained a preliminary injunction. Elon Musk, we have taken legal action against him in DOGE, and we were successful. We also filed suit concerning the Office of Management and Budget when they froze FEMA funds, and we achieved success there as well.”
Furthering her provocative statements, the Democrat remarked, “We initiated lawsuits concerning probationary employees, all those probationary employees who were dismissed. We prevailed. We sued the NHI, the National Health Institute. We successfully secured a preliminary injunction.”
Wrapping up her impassioned tirade, Letitia James lamented, “We filed lawsuits against the dismantling of the Department of Education. We were successful. We obtained a TRO and were successful regarding the education grants. I could continue indefinitely. The crux of the matter is that we are achieving victories.”
As previously reported, Letitia James has made several embarrassing public statements.
Expressing further dissatisfaction, James remarked, “This is nothing more than a revenge tour! It is purely an act of vindictiveness! This is simply an individual who is angry with me because we obtained a $454 million judgment against him, his family, and his company!”
On the other hand, Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Director William Pulte asserts that James “has repeatedly misrepresented the same property as containing only four units in both building permit applications and various mortgage documents and applications,” to secure favorable loan conditions.
