With This Egg Diet, I Could Lose 10 Kilos of Fat — Here’s Exactly What I Dide

Let me be honest. I’ve tried every diet under the sun. Keto, intermittent fasting, juice cleanses, low carb—you name it, I’ve tried it. But nothing seemed to work long-term. I’d lose a few pounds, then gain it all back. It was exhausting.

Then one morning, I stumbled across a video titled: “The 7-Day Egg Diet That Actually Works.” It sounded crazy. Just eggs? But something about it felt simple—doable. And honestly, I was desperate for a reset. So I decided to try it.

Why the Egg Diet?

Eggs are packed with high-quality protein, healthy fats, and important nutrients like choline and B vitamins. They keep you full longer, and they’re cheap and easy to cook. What more could I ask for?

The version I followed was strict, but not impossible.

The 7-Day Egg Diet Plan I Followed

Each day looked something like this:

Breakfast:

  • 2 boiled eggs

  • 1 grapefruit or a green apple

  • Black coffee or green tea

Lunch:

  • 2 boiled or scrambled eggs

  • Steamed spinach or leafy greens

  • 1 slice of whole-grain toast (on alternate days)

Dinner:

  • Grilled chicken or fish

  • Steamed vegetables

  • 1 boiled egg (optional)

Snacks:

  • Water, tea, or a small handful of almonds (if I really needed something)

No sugar. No processed carbs. No alcohol.

What Happened to My Body

✅ Day 1–2: I had a mild headache and craved sugar like crazy.
✅ Day 3: My energy stabilized. I felt lighter and less bloated.
✅ Day 5: My face looked slimmer. My pants started to feel loose.
✅ Day 7: I stepped on the scale: I had lost 4.8 kg (about 10.5 lbs) in one week.

But even more than the weight loss, I felt in control again.

Did I Keep the Weight Off?

Yes, but with a catch: I didn’t go back to junk food right after. I slowly added back healthy carbs like quinoa, oats, and sweet potatoes. I continued eating eggs for breakfast 3–4 times a week because they’re simple and keep me full.

What I Learned from This

  • Simplicity works.

  • Discipline isn’t about suffering—it’s about structure.

  • Eggs are seriously underrated.

This egg diet wasn’t magic. But it gave me a jumpstart—both physically and mentally. I lost 10 kilos (over 22 pounds) in the weeks that followed, and I’ve kept them off.

Important: Always talk to a doctor or nutritionist before starting any strict diet. What worked for me might not be right for everyone.
