“Melania Is Having the Time of Her Life”: Melania Does “Trump Dance” at Inauguration Ball and the Internet Loves It [WATCH]

The moment at hand came when President Donald Trump cut the cake with a saber, a moment iconic in and of itself. As he did so, Melania, who was somewhat off to the side of the president, started doing the “Trump dance,” the YMCA-themed dance that Trump was known for doing at rallies. She kept doing so as Trump turned around and saw her.

Commenting on that, Brian Clowdus, a conservative personality on X (formerly Twitter), posted the clip of Melania doing the “Trump Dance” while her husband cut the cake out of the frame of the video with his saber and said, “Melania is having this time of her life. These next four years are gonna be ICONIC!!!”

A commenter on the post said, “I love seeing her let loose and be happy! After what they put her husband and family through the past 8 years she deserves to be happy!!!!!” Another said, “I love it! They’ve put Melania and her entire family through hell. It’s wonderful seeing her enjoy & get to be her real self!”

Yet another claimed that this is the first time Melania has done the Trump dance in public, which is somewhat untrue, but it is rare and the comment was sweet, saying, “For the record, this is the very first time Melania has done The Trump Dance – publicly anyway. That moment came alongside another great Trump dance moment: Melania laughed and smiled as her husband, holding his cake-cutting saber, did his famous “Trump Dance” on stage in front of everyone in quite an excited and fun fashion. One poster on X said, “Okay, the best Trump Dance, is Trump Dancing with a saber with Melania and JD Vance. Best Trump Dance ever! This is JOY, by the way.”

Quote-tweeting that, another commenter loved that Melania had been singing along as her husband did his famous dance while wielding a saber, saying, “Melania singing along to YMCA while Trump dances with a sword ” A commenter agreed, saying, “I loved this! This was great! ”

Conservative X personality Matt Couch, who posted about the matter as well, including a similar clip of Trump dancing with the saber in hand as Melania smiled, laughed, and sang along, captioned the clip by writing, “Melania lost it as President Trump dances with a sword to YMCA ” A commenter said, “hahahaha she loves him so much. J.D. and wife also having quite the laugh. Kudos to the Marines who didn’t even crack a smile!” Watch that moment here:
