Sen. Ron Johnson Takes Bold Step to Uncover Fauci’s Secret COVID-Era Emails—What’s Hiding in Them?

Sen. Ron Johnson is taking swift action now that Republicans have regained control of the Senate. The Wisconsin senator, who chairs the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, has officially subpoenaed the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for key documents regarding vaccine safety, including emails from Dr. Anthony Fauci. This move, as reported by The Blaze, was announced on Wednesday, just as the Senate Finance Committee held a hearing on Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s HHS nomination.

Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson speaks during Donald Trump’s political rally at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Friday.

Johnson, a vocal advocate for government transparency, made it clear that his efforts are just beginning with the Republican Senate majority.

“Yesterday, I subpoenaed HHS for documents related to the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, including a specific request for Dr. Fauci’s emails, as well as information on the development and safety of the COVID-19 vaccines,” Johnson stated.

He emphasized that many of these documents should have been made available years ago but were withheld by the Biden administration, leaving both Congress and the public in the dark.

“Accountability and transparency must be restored to U.S. health agencies,” Johnson added, expressing his expectation that HHS will comply fully with the subpoena.

For years, Sen. Ron Johnson has been demanding answers. He revealed that he sent around 70 oversight letters regarding the federal government’s response to COVID-19, but the Biden administration either ignored or gave insufficient responses. Now, Johnson is ramping up the pressure, setting a deadline of February 18 for officials to provide answers.

Amid this increased scrutiny, a peculiar detail from the final days of the Biden administration has resurfaced—President Joe Biden’s last-minute pardon for Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Seen by many as a move to shield Fauci from potential legal consequences under a future Trump administration, the pardon drew attention. At the time, Biden defended the decision, calling investigations into Fauci “baseless and politically motivated” and claiming they would only “disrupt the lives, safety, and financial well-being of those involved and their families.”

Amid this, a detail from the final days of the Biden administration resurfaced—Biden’s last-minute pardon of Fauci, which many viewed as a shield against potential legal repercussions under a Trump administration.

Johnson is now putting the pressure on HHS to respond or face further scrutiny.
